Shillingridge is the ultimate in luxury glamping in Buckinghamshire. Our lodges provide a magical place to visit with a special blend of peace, comfort and luxury.
We have two luxury safari tents, both are set in a secluded two-acre paddock with views across the Chiltern fields and woodland. Our maximum capacity is twelve, if you book both the lodges you will have the whole place to yourself.
Ash Lodge is positioned further up the hill and has a raised deck, Beech Lodge is tucked into the earth and is closer to the ground.
The lodges are identical and both sleep up to six people in a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and an enchanting double cabin bed, comfy sofas, a rustic kitchen, a wood-burning range cooker, a dining table and chairs.
Experience glamping with luxurious private bathrooms which include gorgeous free standing roll top slipper baths and power showers. There is a separate sink and flushing WC. The bathrooms are at the rear of the lodges and with the door open you can enjoy a private woodland bath.
Both lodges have their own gas BBQ and a compendium with board and card games to entertain your family and friends.
Outside on the deck, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the sunset with beautiful views and space to play games and enjoy a campfire.
Bedrooms
Each lodge has a double and a twin bedroom as well as a cozy double cabin bed. Our beds are made up with luxurious bed linen and soft duvets with electric blankets or hot water bottles depending on the time of year.
Private Bathrooms
Our private bathrooms are second to none, with roll top slipper baths to relax in and enjoy the view of the woodland behind. There are separate flushing toilets and hand basins. Run a hot bubble bath and wash away your troubles as you enjoy the woodland scenery from your peaceful, private sanctuary.
Living Area & Deck
An inviting, cosy living area greets you as you step into our lodges. Complete with a large, comfortable sofa and armchair, why not sit down, put your feet up and relax.
Both decks have amazing views across fields and woodland. Watch the sunset and the stars twinkle from your large deck, cook on the gas BBQ or relax on the sumptuous sofa with throws and cushions. It's the ideal place to relax, enjoy a book or while away the day enjoying the view of the Chilterns.
Kitchen
Each glamping lodge is equipped with a fully functioning kitchen with a wood-burning stove with a working oven. There is also a four ring gas hob. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need right down to tea towels and condiments, we’ve even managed to fit in a fridge.
Breakfast and BBQ packs are available to order along with afternoon teas or locally prepared cheese boards delivered or waiting for you in your glamping lodge.
Alternatively, why not treat yourself to some locally produced food made with love in the heart of the Chilterns, Absolute Cuisine prepare beautiful meals from the finest ingredients without preservatives, colourings or artificial additives. Traditional home cooking at it’s best waiting for you in your lodge.
Marlow and the surrounding area are also blessed with fantastic places to eat out, anything from a sandwich at the local artisan baker to Tom Kerridge’s 2 Michelin Star Pub The Hand and Flowers.
