If you're planning a luxury glamping trip this summer with your little ones, why not make the most of all the creatures around us.

Every morning, we let our chicken’s out and collect the eggs and your little ones are always welcome to join us. With our four dogs and two horses, there’s always a creature nearby for a cuddle.

There’s an abundance of wildlife surrounding our lodges. You’ll find binoculars in your lodge where you can stand on the deck and enjoy watching the Red Kites, Woodpeckers, Deer and Hares going about their business.

If your children love ponies, you could take them for a walk in the woods on a pony at Checkendon Equestrian Centre in Reading. Then pop over to the Cheese Shed in Henley for a delicious cheese toastie - with multi-award-winning cheese!

If pigs and piglets are your favourite farm animal, you could try two hours of petting and playing with them at Kew Little Pigs in Amersham. There's also Odd’s Farm where you can visit their friendly farm animals and rare breeds like the Giant Panda or Sumatran Tiger.

Fancy staying inside your glamping lodge? Don’t worry we have you covered. Under the cabin bed you will discover our toy box with toys and dressing up clothes, you'll also find games, cards and outdoor blankets.

Benefits of Glamping with Animals for Kids

Educational Experience: Glamping with animals provides children with a hands-on learning environment. They can learn about different species, their habitats, and behaviours, enhancing their understanding of nature and wildlife.

Connection with Nature: Being surrounded by animals and natural settings helps kids develop a deep appreciation for the environment and fosters a sense of responsibility towards conservation.

Physical Activity: Interacting with animals often involves activities like feeding, petting, and walking, which encourage physical activity and outdoor play, contributing to overall health and fitness.

Emotional Benefits: Spending time with animals has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, boost mood, and provide a sense of companionship and comfort, which is particularly beneficial for children.

Digital Detox: Glamping provides an opportunity to disconnect from screens and engage in real-world activities, promoting mindfulness and better sleep patterns.

Family Bonding: Shared experiences like glamping and animal interactions can strengthen family bonds through collective learning and enjoyment.
